Ready to Strengthen your Enterprise Food Safety Systems?
Food safety systems aren’t just about compliance — they are a business advantage. They help you sell to bigger buyers like supermarkets, hotels, and exporters by building trust, reducing waste, and improving efficiency.
Who This Is For
IMAGRI works directly with agri-food enterprises in Malawi, who are producing for commercial markets. The focus is on improving food safety practices and strengthening day-to-day operations to reach larger formal buyers such as retailers, distributors, and export markets. If you are ready to move beyond local sales and grow with confidence, IMAGRI can help.
IMAGRI works with a limited number of agri-food enterprises through a structured, personalised pathway designed to support each enterprise in achieving its established objective at the start of this journey. The focus is on practical changes that businesses can apply in their facilities, processes, and management systems to strengthen food safety systems and prepare businesses for higher-value markets.

We assess your current food safety and operational systems against market and regulatory requirements, and define a clear, practical improvement roadmap.
IMAGRI provides one-to-one technical support as your team implements priority improvements — helping resolve real operational constraints as they arise.
Targeted training and coaching strengthen internal skills so systems are understood, maintained, and continuously improved by your team.
The pathway compromises several supports:
System diagnosis & prioritisation
Guided system implementation
Capability embedding
What this enables for your business
Reduced food safety and operational risk
Stronger internal control and traceability
Improved credibility with buyers and auditors
Readiness for certification and formal markets
Your Commitment
